Anime Spring 2023

I watched 4 shows this season and these are my thoughts now that the series have all wrapped up.

Demon Slayer, The Swordsmith Arc

Animated really well but overall worse than the other arcs. The hashiras weren't super involved and the Muichiro fight was meh. Still worth watching especially for the finale of Mugen seeing Nezuko walking in the sunlight.

Hell's Paradise

Great animation and definitely better than the manga. I love how weird and creepy things are. I think the manga did the creep factor better but the anime seems to be handling the characters better. I actually care for them much more now.

Oshi No Ko

Also great animation, I'm seeing a trend now. Lovely anime about 2 people that get reincarnated as the children of an idol. The mystery plot which I was hoping to be key, wasn't. The show however is interesting in it's own right.

Tengoku Daimakyou

Heavenly Delusion was a great anime. The style is great and the pacing is great and everything about it is so cool. It made me watch Shin Sekai Yori which I consider one of my favourite animes now. I'm very curious to see where the story goes but I don't have much of an urge to go read the manga.

These 4 anime have been quite fun to follow this season.
