I installed stow and I'm loving the idea of having ~/dotfiles directory that can be versioned. You build out the directory structure of all the dotfiles under that directory and then use stow to symlink them out to the right place. This way you can have all the dotfiles under the home directory in one place.

This tied with the pacmanfile gives me a really quick way to build out a useful system for myself instead of having to run into every missing thing.

This is still the early days so I'll need to come back and update this with my future thoughts but as of now, I'm loving it.
