The main kettlebell work out that people recommend, is the one in Simple and Sinister, a book by Pavel Tsatsouline.
The core program is very simple and has just 2 workouts. I'll describe the beginner program here but there is a progression method in the book.
The goal is to do 5 sets of kettlebell swins and 10 turkish get-ups, 5 per side.
Men are recommended to start with 35 lbs while women should start with 20lbs.
The subreddit, /r/kettlebell, has all the information you need to start with kettlebells. A bit too much information in my eyes but they are trying to be for the general populace.
You should start Turkish Get Ups with a shoe before starting with the kettlebell. You want to make sure you get the form right as it is a complex movement.
