Bah, I bought the tailwind components and they are extremely useful. You can quickly get some good stuff going. However it completely made me want to stop working as it was largely copy and paste and I couldn't help but feel like it was crap. There was too much boilerplate stuff and I had to use vscode to really use it. Trying to use vim with tailwind and sveltekit was too bothersome but using vscode bothered me in a way I didn't expect.
I ended up taking a break from my project to just get some backend coding stuff done and I can feel my mind relaxing far more. I think for my personal stuff I need to keep it simple and plain, even if it doesn't look super pretty. I think the components are great and I may use them to learn some things but I don't think I'm the type of person that I can just use a toolkit. I want to build my own.
